House dust mite (HDM) allergen-specific immune cells are a diverse population of immune cells, including T cells, B cells, ILC2s, and dendritic cells, that recognize and respond to HDM allergens. These cells mediate allergic inflammation in diseases like asthma, rhinitis, and atopic dermatitis. Activation involves both adaptive (T cell-dependent IgE production) and innate (epithelial cell activation, ILC2 stimulation) pathways.
