The human leukocyte antigen class I molecule presenting mutant KRAS peptide refers to an MHC-I complex displaying tumor-specific neoepitopes generated from oncogenic mutations within the intracellular protein sequence of mutated *KRAS*. This presentation enables precise recognition by cytotoxic CD8+ T-cells—either naturally occurring or engineered—for targeted anti-tumor immunity. The specificity depends on both allele type/polymorphism at key binding pockets within MHC-I molecules and compatibility with particular neoepitope sequences generated by somatic mutation events such as those seen frequently in cancers driven by *KRAS* mutations.
