The human nasal epithelial cell is a primary structural cell type lining the nasal mucosa, forming a pseudostratified, ciliated columnar epithelium essential for respiratory health. These cells provide a physical and biochemical barrier, participate in mucociliary clearance, and secrete mucins and antimicrobial factors to protect against inhaled pathogens and allergens[2][3].
