Target intelligence / Profile preview
Hyaluronidase (human recombinant) is a purified, recombinant form of the human enzyme hyaluronidase, produced using genetically engineered Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells that express a soluble fragment of human hyaluronidase PH20. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of hyaluronic acid, a major component of the extracellular matrix, increasing tissue permeability and facilitating the absorption and dispersion of parenterally administered fluids, drugs, and contrast agents.
Hydrolyzes hyaluronic acid, reducing viscosity and increasing tissue permeability, thereby enhancing the absorption and dispersion of co-administered substances.
