HIF1AP pseudogene 1 (HIF1AP1) is a pseudogene related to *hypoxia inducible factor 1 alpha subunit* (HIF1A), which encodes a key transcription factor in the cellular response to hypoxia. However, as a pseudogene, HIF1AP1 does not code for a functional protein, has no known biological function, and is not involved in disease processes or therapeutic intervention.
