IFITM3 pseudogene 4, abbreviated as IFITM4P, is not a protein-coding gene or a classical molecular target such as a receptor, enzyme, or transporter; rather, it is a transcribed processed pseudogene that produces a functional long noncoding RNA (lncRNA).
