Target intelligence / Profile preview
IGBP1 antisense RNA 2 (IGBP1-AS2) is a long non-coding RNA gene whose sequence is annotated but whose function is currently unclear. It is transcribed from a locus antisense to the *Immunoglobulin-binding protein 1* (IGBP1) gene. The biological role, protein partners, disease associations, and druggability of IGBP1-AS2 have not been established in the current literature or gene databases. It is not considered a therapeutic target, and there is no evidence of its involvement in any well-characterized molecular mechanism or disease process[4][8].
