IL10RB divergent transcript (IL10RB-DT), also known as IL10RB antisense RNA 1 and IFNAR2 antisense RNA 1, is a long non-coding RNA located antisense to the IL10RB/IFNAR2 gene locus. It is highly expressed in various tumor types where it plays a role in suppressing tumor immune responses by downregulating antigen presentation pathways (including MHC-I) and suppressing IFN-γ–JAK–STAT1 signaling. This activity leads to decreased activation and increased exhaustion of CD8+ T cells in the tumor microenvironment. Elevated IL10RB-DT expression is associated with immune evasion, cancer progression, poor prognosis, and resistance to immunotherapies such as anti–PD-1, making it a potential biomarker and possible future therapeutic target, though currently it is not modulated by any approved drugs[1][2][3][5][7].
