IL12A antisense RNA 1 (IL12A-AS1) is a long noncoding RNA transcribed antisense to the IL12A gene. Variants in IL12A-AS1 have been associated with increased risk of Behçet’s disease in genome-wide association studies, implicating it as a genetic regulator in inflammatory and immune pathways[1].
