The interaction involves antigen-presenting cells (APCs) processing these antigens and presenting them to T and B lymphocytes, leading to the secretion of protective antibodies and the formation of memory cells (CDC, 2021). This response is not a single molecular target but a systemic physiological process used to prevent infectious diseases. Efficacy is typically monitored through biomarkers such as serum bactericidal antibody (hSBA) titers and anti-HBs/anti-HAV antibody levels (WHO, 2022).
