Immunoglobulin-like Transcript 3 (ILT3), also known as LILRB4, is an inhibitory immune checkpoint receptor expressed predominantly on myeloid lineage cells. It functions to suppress immune responses by recruiting phosphatases to its ITIM motifs upon ligand binding, leading to reduced immune cell activation. In cancer, ILT3 contributes to tumor-mediated immune evasion, making it a target for immunotherapy.
