It is essential for normal cell function, making therapeutic targeting challenging[8].
For nuclear import inhibitors: Block IPO7 cargo transport into the nucleus, interfering with viral replication or cell signaling pathways relevant in cancer. For antiviral strategies: Disrupt IPO7-mediated nuclear entry of viral proteins (HIV-1 integrase, flavivirus core proteins).
