Inflammatory exudation is a complex physiological process characterized by the leakage of plasma fluid, proteins, and blood cells from the vascular system into the surrounding interstitial tissues or body cavities during an inflammatory response (StatPearls, NBK541094). Therapeutic strategies focus on modulating the underlying signaling pathways, such as using corticosteroids to stabilize membranes or anti-VEGF agents to reduce vascular leakage in conditions like macular edema (PubMed, PMID 12411516). Consequently, managing exudation is a primary goal in treating various acute and chronic inflammatory diseases.
