Influenza Haemagglutinin Protein (HA)

Target
HA
Molecular classification
Viral surface glycoprotein, Class I fusion protein
01

Overview

Influenza haemagglutinin (HA) is a homotrimeric glycoprotein on the surface of influenza viruses. It mediates viral attachment to host cells and membrane fusion required for viral entry. HA is a major antigenic protein and a key target for neutralizing antibodies.
