“Influenza virus proteins" is a non-canonical, overly broad designation that refers to the many distinct proteins encoded by the influenza viruses, which belong to the family Orthomyxoviridae. For detailed analysis, each individual viral protein (such as "Influenza A virus hemagglutinin" or "Influenza A virus neuraminidase") should be treated as a unique target[5][7][10].
