Overview

Inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor-interacting protein-like 2 (ITPRIPL2) is a predicted protein-coding gene localized in the membrane with little characterized direct function. ITPRIPL2 is subject to post-transcriptional regulation by microRNAs, and its transcript levels are inversely correlated with several microRNAs implicated in breast cancer prognosis. It is a member of the DANGER protein family, with disease associations that include breast cancer (as a prognostic marker) and Diamond-Blackfan anemia 4, as listed in some gene databases.
