Insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor (IGF1R) mRNA is the messenger RNA transcript that encodes the IGF1R protein, a critical transmembrane tyrosine kinase receptor involved in mediating the effects of insulin-like growth factors 1 and 2 (NCBI Gene: 3480).
