Overview

Integrator complex subunit 10 (INTS10) is a protein in the Integrator complex, which is tightly associated with the C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II and is involved in the 3'-end processing of snRNAs and regulation of transcription termination of coding and non-coding genes[2][3][1][6]. INTS10 forms a stable ternary subcomplex with Integrator subunits 13 (INTS13) and 14 (INTS14), participating specifically in nucleic acid binding and transcriptional attenuation[1][3]. Although INTS10 is not critical for the core endonuclease activity of Integrator, it contributes to enhancer activation and cell differentiation, potentially by facilitating chromatin interactions or stabilizing the Integrator complex at specific transcription sites[3][5]. Known aliases for INTS10 include INT10 and C8ORF35. While genes encoding Integrator subunits are linked with various developmental disorders, INTS10 itself is not a confirmed direct drug target nor a validated biomarker for therapeutic selection[6][2]. If there is interest in the broader Integrator complex as a therapeutic or pathophysiological target (e.g., its role in transcriptional regulation and diseases), some components like INTS11 (an endonuclease) may have more canonical drug or genetic targeting interest[4][3].
