Integrator complex subunit 2 (INTS2) is an essential component of the **Integrator complex**, a large multiprotein assembly associated with the C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II. INTS2, together with other core subunits (e.g., INTS1 and INTS7), forms the structural backbone of the complex. Alterations in the Integrator complex, including INTS2 deficiency, are associated with misregulation of gene expression in disease contexts, but INTS2 itself is not currently a recognized drug target or clinical biomarker[1][2][3].
