Target intelligence / Profile preview
Interferon-gamma (IFN-γ)-producing T cells are a subset of lymphocytes, primarily including CD4+ T helper type 1 (Th1) cells and CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes, that secrete the cytokine IFN-γ upon activation. These cells play a central role in orchestrating immune responses against intracellular pathogens and tumors by producing IFN-γ, which has broad immunomodulatory effects.
