The interleukin-2 receptor beta-gamma (IL-2Rβγ) is a heterodimeric cell surface receptor complex composed of the beta (CD122) and gamma (CD132) subunits. This complex mediates cellular responses to interleukin-2 (IL-2), crucial for immune cell proliferation, differentiation, and activation. It is found primarily on memory T cells and NK cells, and its selective targeting can enhance anti-tumor immunity while minimizing toxicity.
