Interleukin 7 Receptor Alpha (IL-7Rα)

Target
IL-7Rα
Molecular classification
Type I cytokine receptor, Receptor
01

Overview

Interleukin 7 receptor alpha (IL-7Rα), also known as CD127, is a type I cytokine receptor subunit that forms part of the interleukin-7 (IL-7) receptor and the thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) receptor. It is expressed on various immune cells and is essential for lymphocyte development, survival, and homeostasis. Dysregulation of IL-7Rα is implicated in several diseases, including SCID, ALL, and autoimmune disorders.
