Interleukin 8 Receptor Beta (CXCR2)

Target
CXCR2
Molecular classification
G protein-coupled receptor, Receptor
01

Overview

CXCR2, also known as Interleukin 8 receptor beta (IL8RB), is a member of the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family and functions primarily as a chemokine receptor. It plays key roles in immune response and inflammation, mediating neutrophil migration and angiogenesis. Dysregulation has been implicated in various diseases including autoimmune disorders, chronic inflammatory conditions, cancer, and atherosclerosis.
