Target intelligence / Profile preview
Cytokine receptors are a diverse group of cell surface proteins that specifically bind cytokines—small, regulatory proteins involved in immune system signaling, inflammation, tissue repair, and other physiological processes. These receptors act as the "locks" to which cytokines (the "keys") bind, triggering intracellular signaling cascades that alter cellular behavior. Dysregulation or mutation in cytokine receptors can lead to immune deficiencies, autoimmune diseases, chronic inflammatory conditions, or cancer.
