Target intelligence / Profile preview
Isthmin 1 (ISM1) is a secreted protein expressed in skin, mucosal tissues, and selected lymphocyte populations. It contains a thrombospondin domain and an adhesion-associated domain. ISM1 is involved in immune responses, particularly in Th17 cell polarization, and exhibits anti-angiogenic properties. It may mediate lymphocyte effector functions and participate in both innate and acquired immunity.
