Kappa Myeloma Antigen (KMA)

Target
KMA
Molecular classification
Tumor-associated antigen, Epitope, Kappa light chain
01

Overview

Kappa Myeloma Antigen (KMA) is a tumor-associated antigen found on the surface of malignant plasma cells, particularly in patients with kappa-type multiple myeloma. It is an epitope associated with free kappa light chains that are inserted into the membrane of malignant plasma cells. KMA serves as a target for monoclonal antibody and CAR-T cell-based immunotherapies.
