Overview
Kelch domain-containing protein 4 (KLHDC4) is a human protein encoded by the KLHDC4 gene. It is a member of the Kelch-domain superfamily, which is characterized by multiple Kelch motifs that typically mediate protein–protein interactions and cytoskeleton-associated functions. KLHDC4 has been implicated in the suppression of apoptosis and oncogenesis, particularly in nasopharyngeal carcinoma, and is associated with certain neurodegenerative disorders. While it is not a classic receptor, enzyme, or transporter, it acts as a regulatory protein and may serve as a biomarker and potential therapeutic target in cancer[2][3][5][6][7].
