Kelch domain-containing protein 9 (KLHDC9)

Kelch domain-containing protein 9 (KLHDC9) is a human protein encoded by the KLHDC9 gene, belonging to the kelch-like protein family characterized by Kelch motifs that form β-propeller structures mediating protein–protein interactions[1][2][3][9]. KLHDC9 is noted for cyclin binding activity, suggesting a potential role in cell cycle regulation, although its precise biological functions and clinical significance remain incompletely characterized[3]. There are reported associations with disorders such as Meckel syndrome type 8 and inclusion conjunctivitis[3], but it is not currently known as a drug target or as a receptor, enzyme, or transporter.
