Kelch-like protein 23 (KLHL23) is an E3 ubiquitin ligase substrate adaptor protein encoded by the KLHL23 gene on chromosome 7 and is a member of the Kelch-like family, characterized by a BTB/POZ domain, a BACK domain, and a Kelch repeat domain[2][4].
