Overview

Kelch-like protein 32 (KLHL32) is a member of the KLHL family, a group of proteins defined by the presence of BTB/POZ, BACK, and Kelch motifs. KLHL proteins typically act as adaptor proteins for Cullin 3-based E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, contributing to the selective ubiquitination and degradation of various substrate proteins[1][2]. While many KLHL family members are known to regulate processes such as cytoskeletal organization, gene expression, and cell signaling, the specific biological functions and disease associations of KLHL32 itself have not been clearly characterized in published research to date[1][2]. No small molecules, drugs, or disease biomarker roles have been described for KLHL32. Like other KLHL proteins, it may participate in protein-protein interactions and act as a scaffold within E3 ubiquitin ligase complexes, but direct experimental evidence for KLHL32-specific functions or roles in human disease is currently lacking.
