Keratin-associated protein 13-3 (KRTAP13-3) is a structural protein found predominantly in hair and wool fibers, where it is an important component of the matrix surrounding keratin intermediate filaments[1][2][4][6][8]. It is not a therapeutic target and there are no known drugs or biomarkers associated with it. It is classified as a structural protein rather than a receptor, enzyme, or other therapeutic class. Its function is primarily in the determination of fiber characteristics in mammals[1][2][6][8].
