Target intelligence / Profile preview
KHDC1 antisense RNA 1 (KHDC1-AS1) is a long non-coding RNA located on chromosome 6q13[4]. It is transcribed antisense to the KHDC1 protein-coding gene and is thought to function primarily in the regulation of KHDC1 expression[2]. The expression of KHDC1-AS1 appears to be highly specialized, especially within the central nervous system[4]. There is currently no evidence to indicate KHDC1-AS1 is a therapeutic target, and no drug-targeting or mechanism-of-action data are available in public databases or literature.
