The KRAS mutant peptide-HLA complex is a molecular structure formed when a peptide derived from a mutated KRAS protein (commonly found in various cancers) is presented on the cell surface by a human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecule. This complex acts as a neoantigen, enabling recognition by T cell receptors (TCRs) or engineered antibodies, and serves as an important target for cancer immunotherapy. Common mutations include G12V and G12D, presented by HLAs such as HLA-A*11:01, HLA-A*03:01, and HLA-C*08:02.
