Lung Cancer-Associated Antigen L523S (L523S)

Target
L523S
Molecular classification
RNA-binding protein, Oncofetal protein
01

Overview

Lung cancer-associated antigen L523S (L523S), also known as KOC or IMP-3, is an oncofetal RNA-binding protein highly expressed in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Its restricted expression in normal adult tissues, compared to high expression in NSCLC subtypes, makes it a promising target for immunotherapeutic interventions. It is being investigated as a potential target for vaccine-based immunotherapy.
