Ladybird homeobox 2 (LBX2)

Ladybird homeobox 2 (LBX2) is a protein-coding gene that encodes a sequence-specific transcription factor involved in the regulation of transcription via DNA binding. It plays roles in early embryonic processes such as gastrulation, is predicted to regulate non-canonical Wnt signaling pathways, and acts in the positive regulation of convergent extension.
