Target intelligence / Profile preview
Lambda myeloma antigen (LMA) is a cell surface antigen specifically expressed on malignant plasma cells in multiple myeloma, particularly those producing lambda light chains. It is not found on normal B cells or non-malignant plasma cells, making it a highly selective marker and potential therapeutic target for certain subtypes of multiple myeloma.
Monoclonal antibody binds to LMA, selectively eliminating malignant lambda-expressing plasma cells.
