Target intelligence / Profile preview
LCK is a member of the Src family of protein tyrosine kinases and plays a critical role in T-cell development and activation. It initiates the T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling cascade by phosphorylating ITAMs within CD3 subunits and TCR-gamma chains. Dysregulation can result in immunodeficiency or contribute to oncogenic transformation. Lck is an established drug target for immunomodulation.
