Lectin-like transcript 1 (LLT1)

Target
LLT1
Molecular classification
C-type lectin-like receptors, Receptor
01

Overview

Lectin-like transcript 1 (LLT1) is a C-type lectin-like receptor that acts as a ligand for NKRP1A/CD161, an inhibitory receptor primarily found on NK cells and T lymphocytes. LLT1 is upregulated on activated immune cells during inflammation and infection. Its interaction with NKRP1A inhibits NK cell cytotoxicity but can costimulate T cell proliferation and cytokine production. LLT1 plays a role in tumor immune evasion, making it a potential target for cancer immunotherapy.
