Left ventricular function

"Left ventricular function" refers to the ability of the left ventricle (the heart's main pumping chamber) to pump blood efficiently throughout the body. It is typically measured using left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), representing the percentage of blood ejected during systole compared to the volume present at the end of diastole[1][4][6][9].
