Leucine-rich repeat and immunoglobulin-like domain-containing Nogo receptor-interacting protein 1 (LINGO-1) is a single-pass type I transmembrane protein primarily expressed in the central nervous system (CNS). It plays a critical role as a negative regulator of myelination and axonal regeneration, acting through its involvement in the Nogo receptor signaling complex.
