Leukocyte antigen CD37 (CD37) is a cell surface glycoprotein belonging to the tetraspanin family. Highly expressed on mature B cells and malignant B cells in CLL, NHL and AML. It plays a crucial role in immune regulation, including B-cell and T-cell interactions, and acts as a tumor suppressor. CD37 is a therapeutic target for immunotherapies like monoclonal antibodies and CAR-T cells, and its expression level serves as a prognostic marker in certain lymphomas.
