The Lewis-A-like glycotope (AbGn‑7 antigen) is a carbohydrate epitope structurally similar to the Lewis A blood group antigen, highly expressed on tumor cells of various gastrointestinal cancers. It is targeted by monoclonal antibodies and antibody-drug conjugates for cancer therapy due to its restricted expression profile and ability to induce apoptosis, CDC, and ADCC in tumor cells.
