LIM domain containing preferred translocation partner in lipoma (LPP) is a multifunctional LIM domain protein that localizes to focal adhesions and cell–cell contacts, shuttling between the cytoplasm and nucleus where it serves as a scaffold protein for structural and signaling assemblies and as a transcriptional co-activator[1][2][3]. No direct approved drugs or clinical inhibitors specifically target LPP, but its expression and mutations serve as important biomarkers for disease susceptibility, tumor subtyping, and evaluation of certain pathologies[1][3].
