Little elongation complex subunit 2 (ICE2) is a protein-coding gene encoding a component of the little elongation complex (LEC)[1][3][5]. The LEC is essential for the transcription of small nuclear RNA (snRNA) genes by RNA polymerase II, facilitating both polymerase occupancy at these genes and subsequent transcriptional elongation[1][3][5].
