Liver Blood refers to the physiological blood supply of the liver, which is unique due to its dual input from the hepatic artery and the portal vein (StatPearls, 2023). It is not a specific molecular target, receptor, or enzyme, but a complex biological fluid and anatomical compartment essential for metabolic processing and detoxification (NIH, 2022). In clinical pharmacology, liver blood flow is a critical parameter for determining the clearance of drugs with high extraction ratios, but the blood itself is not the target (PubMed, 2021).
