Local microcirculation enhancement refers to the improvement of blood flow at the microvascular level within a defined tissue region, achieved by interventions such as physical activity, negative pressure wound therapy, or low-level laser therapy. This process involves mechanisms such as vasodilation (often mediated by nitric oxide), stimulation of angiogenesis via vascular endothelial growth factor, changes in local hemodynamics, and photobiomodulation.
