Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1235 (LINC01235) is a human gene encoding a long non-coding RNA classified as a "long intergenic non-protein coding RNA" (lincRNA), which are RNA transcripts longer than 200 nucleotides that do not overlap protein-coding genes and are not translated into proteins[1][3][7][10].
