Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1315 (LINC01315)

Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1315 (LINC01315) is a long non-coding RNA located at chromosome 22q, implicated in the regulation of gene expression as a competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) through its ability to sponge specific microRNAs such as miR-205-3p, miR-484, miR-211, and miR-497-5p[1][2][5]. LINC01315 is overexpressed in several cancers, including colorectal cancer, breast cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, papillary thyroid cancer, and oral squamous cell carcinoma, where it promotes tumorigenesis, cancer stem cell properties, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and cell migration and invasion[1][2][4][5].
