Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1320 (LINC01320)

Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1320 (LINC01320) is a human long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) that does not code for proteins but plays a role in the regulation of gene expression and cellular functions[3][5]. It has been found to be overexpressed in several cancers, including ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, and gastric cancer, where it is associated with increased cell proliferation, migration, invasion, and poor prognosis[2][4]. LINC01320 can act as a molecular sponge for microRNA miR-324-3p, thereby modulating the expression of genes involved in tumor progression, and can directly interact with protein factors such as PURB to repress transcription of genes like DDB2[2][4].
