Target intelligence / Profile preview
LINC01519 (Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 1519) is a human long intergenic non-coding RNA gene. LincRNAs are defined as autonomously transcribed RNA molecules longer than 200 nucleotides that do not overlap with protein-coding genes. Their main functions include regulating expression of nearby genes, remodeling chromatin and genome architecture, modulating RNA stability, and transcriptional regulation including enhancer-like activities. LINC01519’s specific biological role has not been experimentally clarified, but by molecular family it may act as a transcriptional regulator in a context-dependent and tissue-specific manner, with no current evidence supporting direct pharmacological targeting or disease linkage[1][3][5].
